Installation Guide

The new Redesignee Squarespace Extension makes adding high-end widgets as easy as dragging and dropping a standard block. No more manual copy-pasting.

1. Get your "Magic" Script

Copy the script below to access the Standard widget library.

1. Get your Premium API Script

Premium users: Visit your Settings Page to copy your unique API script and verify your site domain.

Important: Whitelist your Editor Domain

To enable the Premium Editor, you must add your Squarespace internal domain (e.g., your-site.squarespace.com) to the Authorized Domains list in your Settings. Without this, the extension will not initialize in the editor.

Note: Make sure to replace YOUR_API_KEY with the actual key from your dashboard to enable Premium features.

2. Add to Squarespace Settings

You only need to do this once. It enables the Redesignee interface across your entire site.

  1. Log in to Squarespace and go to Settings → Website Tools → Code Injection.
  2. Find the Footer box and Paste the script you copied.
  3. Click Save and Refresh your browser.

3. Add & Customize Widgets

01. Add the Block

Click "Add Block" and select "Redesignee Widget".

02. Pick & Tweak

Choose any free widget from the library and customize colors/text.

03. Done!

Click "Add to Page." Resize and move it anywhere on your Fluid Engine grid!
