Installation Guide

The official Redesignee Squarespace integration makes adding high-end widgets as easy as dragging and dropping a standard block. Choose your preferred setup method below.

Official Site Connection

Authorize your Squarespace site to instantly authenticate your domain and unlock your widget library.

  1. Click "Connect Site" to log in and authorize your Squarespace website.
  2. Copy the script provided and paste it into your site's Settings > Developer Tools > Code Injection > Footer.
  3. Open your Squarespace page editor, click "Add Block", and the Redesignee Widget will appear in your menu.

If you prefer to load files manually or are running a site without direct OAuth workspace connections, configure your script snippet as outlined below:

1. Get your "Magic" Script

Copy the default script below to gain standard access to our free widget library.

1. Get your Premium API Script

Premium users: Visit your Integrations & API Page to copy your unique API script and verify your domains.

To render premium editors, you must add your Squarespace domain (e.g., yoursite.squarespace.com) into the Authorized Domains table.

Note: Be sure to replace "YOUR_API_KEY" with your actual subscription API key found inside your Integrations & API settings.
2. Paste to Squarespace Settings

Run this configuration task once to initialize the active Redesignee framework across your whole site:

  1. Log in to Squarespace and go to Settings → Website Tools → Code Injection.
  2. Find the Footer box and Paste the script you copied.
  3. Click Save and Refresh your browser.

How to Add & Customize Your Widgets

Once the integration is complete (either automatically or manually), follow these simple steps inside your editor:

01. Add the Block

Click "Add Block" anywhere on your page inside your Squarespace editor, and select "Redesignee Widget".

02. Pick & Tweak

Choose any free widget from the libraries and adjust its parameters, colors, text, or images directly.

03. Save & Done!

Click "Add to Page". You can now resize and position your widget anywhere on your Fluid Engine layout grid!
